GoBoomTV Rules

GoBoomTV is a family-friendly, safe space for everyone. To keep it that way, we have a set of rules that apply across our YouTube channel, livestreams, premieres, and chat spaces. These rules are reviewed and updated regularly.

We understand that rules can sometimes be challenging, but we ask everyone to follow them to the best of their ability. Your effort and cooperation help keep GoBoomTV welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable for all 💙

 

You Must Follow These Rules

1. No links may be posted unless they come from a GoBoomTV Verified Source. Verified sources are regularly monitored.

2. No spamming, including repeated phrases or commands (e.g. !goboomtv !goboomtv !goboomtv).

3. Inappropriate, offensive, or suggestive language is not allowed in any language. Replacing letters with numbers or symbols does not bypass this rule.

4. Do not call someone by their real name unless it is clearly the name of their channel. This is to respect personal privacy.

5. Do not share personal information, including your own or anyone else’s. This is basic internet safety.

6. Do not share your social media accounts, especially those that allow private messaging. Doing so can put you at risk. Only communicate with other GoBoomTV followers through GoBoomTV Verified Chats (YouTube and Twitch).

7. Do not accuse anyone of anything, regardless of whether you believe it to be true.

8. Do not use multiple accounts to influence polls, votes, or outcomes. Use of multiple accounts in chat is discouraged. The only exception is with explicit written permission from GoBoomTV.

9. Do not attempt to bypass or work around the rules in any way.

10. If a Leader or Moderator tells you to stop, you must stop immediately.

11. You must also comply with Autcraft’s Chat Rules when applicable.

 

Think Before You Send

Before posting a message, please remember the THINK acronym:

• T – Is it TRUE?

• H – Is it HELPFUL?

• I – Is it INSPIRING?

• N – Is it NECESSARY?

• K – Is it KIND?

There are no exceptions to these rules.

 

What Happens If a Rule Is Broken?

Livestreams & Premieres

• Inappropriate messages are removed immediately.

• The user will receive a timeout from a moderator.

• Repeated rule-breaking leads to longer timeouts or temporary exclusion.

Comments

• Comments are held for review before being shown.

• Suitable comments are approved and published.

• Inappropriate comments are deleted before they appear.

 

Consequences for Rule Violations

Livestreams & Premieres

• 1st offence – 60-second timeout (1 minute)

• 2nd offence – 120-second timeout (2 minutes)

• 3rd offence – 300-second timeout (5 minutes)

• 4th offence – 600-second timeout (10 minutes)

• 5th offence – Exclusion from GoBoomTV for 7 days

Comments

• 1st offence – Exclusion for 24 hours

• 2nd offence – Exclusion for 48 hours

• 3rd offence – Exclusion for 96 hours

• 4th offence – Exclusion for 120 hours

• 5th offence – Exclusion for 7 days

Exclusion means all comments and live chat messages are removed, and new messages cannot be posted during that period.

 

Moderation & Safety

The GoBoomTV Leadership Team actively monitor all live chats, comments, and interactions to ensure these rules are upheld and that the community remains safe and welcoming.
