This time, as we celebrate one whole year of creating big updates, we bring positive and negative news.

What happened in Summer?

Channel Growth

The summer months were some of the strongest in GoBoomTV history. Views and watch time rose steadily, showing that our mix of games - from BeamNG.drive to Minecraft and beyond - kept you watching and engaged.

5th Anniversary Special Series

The channel’s 5th Anniversary was celebrated in style with a dedicated special series. This was one of the most successful projects of the year, honoring GoBoomTV’s roots while creating something fun and fresh for both long-time fans and new viewers.

The GoBoomTV News Show One of the biggest surprises of 2025 was the launch of the GoBoomTV News Show. It became a fun, creative way to share updates, reflect on projects, and keep the community informed.

But after a successful run, the time has come to say goodbye.

The GoBoomTV News Show will officially end this week.

This isn’t a sad ending, but rather a proud farewell. The show did exactly what it needed to: it kept the channel connected, gave viewers insight into upcoming plans, and proved that experimenting with new formats can work. Its spirit will live on through seasonal updates like this one, regular Community Tab posts, and occasional news segments inside gameplay videos.

Thank you to everyone who watched and supported the News Show - you made it a success.

The GoBoomTV News Show officially ends on Wednesday, 1st October at 13:15 BST, when its last bulletin airs.

What does the remainder of Autumn hold?

Despite Halloween being just around the corner, GoBoomTV will not be changing any branding this year. We learned last year that a very pale orange... isn't quite the colour to like on a website. (Edit 06/10: We realised this isn't strictly true as we have changed the channel's appearance to purple.)

With GoBoomTV News being discontinued, we're also announcing the shock discontinuation of Train Sim World 5. However, not to worry, as Train Sim World 6 is in full service and will be coming to GoBoomTV very soon!

On top of this, The Off-Roading Competition Part II will very soon be in the works, and our brand new reality series, "Dave & Fam", will soon be hitting your screens! A jam-packed season coming up.

Wrapping Up

Summer 2025 was all about growth and celebration, and autumn is about change and fresh energy. With Halloween around the corner, Train Sim World 6 taking the spotlight, and more creative projects lined up, the rest of the year promises to be fun, dynamic, and just a little unpredictable.

Thanks for being part of this journey, and for helping GoBoomTV reach new heights this year. Here’s to a fantastic autumn! And... remember, the Winter Update comes out in November (hopefully)!
