Reflection - 250 Subscriber Specials

The series has been a massive success - we're so glad you all enjoyed it!

As we may have mentioned in the Winter update, we made the decision to shrink the 250 Subscriber Special series in terms of the number of episodes we could produce, primarily due to the limitations that GoBoomTV has faced. This adjustment was not taken lightly, as we aimed to deliver quality content while also managing our resources effectively. In light of this experience, we further reduced the number of episodes planned for the 300 Subscriber Special series. We believe that by focusing on fewer episodes, we can enhance the quality and engagement of each one, ensuring that they resonate better with our audience.

Reflection - 2024 Advent Calendar

Overall, we saw a success. However, it wasn't as successful as we originally hoped.

Don't get us wrong, it was incredibly fun to create, and we were thrilled with the diversity of content we were able to present. One video that particularly stood out was the Autobello Stambecco video, which unexpectedly soared to become our most viewed video, currently sitting at almost 250 views. This was a significant achievement for us, and it highlighted the potential for future content. We are excited to announce that we will continue with another Advent Calendar this year. However, we must emphasize that if the upcoming series does not meet our expectations in terms of viewer engagement and success, we may have to consider discontinuing the Advent Calendar format for the 2026 season. This decision will be based on careful analysis and feedback from our community.

Reflection - 300 Subscriber Specials

The series has been a rather large success - we're so glad you enjoyed it!

We officially announced the 300 Subscriber Specials at the end of November, and to our surprise and delight, we managed to host it right on schedule, right in the middle of January! This was a fantastic achievement for us, and we were thrilled to be able to deliver this content to all of you. The positive feedback we've received has been incredibly motivating, and we are eager to continue this momentum into our future projects. Your support has been invaluable, and we are committed to bringing you even more exciting content in the future.

Reflection - Logo Trial

We are super excited to announce that come March 1st, the trial logo will become the standard logo for GoBoomTV!

Considering that the logo won the vote, and that the channel needs a good refresh, we've brought in the new logo to give it a gentle refresh. This change reflects our ongoing commitment to evolving and modernizing our brand identity, ensuring that it resonates with our audience while also representing the exciting content we strive to create. We believe that a fresh logo will not only enhance our visual presence but also invigorate our community's connection to the GoBoomTV brand.

Reflection - New Website

This is a hot topic... and maybe not in the best way.

When we introduced our new website on 24th January, we only planned to keep it going until June. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the then-current website was retired less than a week later. This decision was a result of the poll being held months earlier than it should have been, leading to a transition that we had not anticipated. What then unfolded was that this website took over, becoming Version 2! We are still in the process of ironing out the creases and addressing the feedback we've received. By Easter, we anticipate having everything worked out and running smoothly, providing you with an enhanced user experience that aligns with our vision for GoBoomTV's online presence.

Reflection - Game Changes

Unfortunately, with the introduction of Cities: Skylines, another game had to go - Forza Horizon 4. In fact, we don't know if any of you noticed, but we quietly switched from the Windows 10/Xbox version to the Steam version! If you noticed, nice eagle-eyed vision.

This transition was a strategic decision aimed at optimizing our gaming content and ensuring that we could deliver the best experience possible for our viewers. The choice to move to the Steam version of Cities: Skylines allows us to tap into a broader range of features and community mods, ultimately enriching the content we can provide. We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate these changes and strive to bring you the best gaming experiences possible.

The 350 Subscriber Special

Obviously, knowing how things go, we'll have 350 subscribers before we can release the Big Summer Update. So, we'll announce it now.

As we look ahead, we are optimistic about hitting the milestone of 350 subscribers, which will pave the way for our much-anticipated Big Summer Update. We are thrilled to announce that we predict this special event will air in the months of April or May in 2025. While it might seem premature to finalize all the details at this stage, we are excited to share that we plan to maintain the same successful format that we utilized for our 300 Subscriber Special series. This means viewers can expect an engaging lineup of 10 scheduled episodes that will be thoughtfully spread out over a 28-day period. In addition, we will introduce an extra episode each week, ensuring that our audience remains captivated and entertained throughout this journey. This format has proven to resonate well with our community, and we firmly believe it will foster a sense of anticipation and enthusiasm as we approach this significant milestone together.

Easter 2025

While Easter may not be as big as Christmas, we'll still give you all an Easter Special!!

Even though Easter may not hold the same level of grandeur as the Christmas festivities, we are committed to celebrating this occasion with our audience by presenting a delightful Easter Special! Scheduled to be hosted on Easter Sunday in 2025, we are excited to bring you unique content from Autcraft, a platform known for its creativity and community engagement. We hope that you are as eager as we are to experience this special offering, which will undoubtedly add a festive touch to our programming lineup.
