Welcome to our Big Winter Update! As we step into this new season, we find ourselves reflecting on the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. We’re currently grappling with the challenge of naming this update, as it coincides with the dawn of a new year. The year 2025/26 seems fitting, evoking a sense of renewal and fresh beginnings, but we’re still pondering the perfect title that encapsulates our aspirations for this winter.

So, what happened in Autumn?

Channel Growth

Autumn proved to be a rather subdued period for channel growth, primarily due to our struggle to maintain a consistent upload schedule. This inconsistency has undoubtedly affected our engagement levels and subscriber growth. However, we are turning the tide! We are excited to announce that we are ramping up our livestreams on Twitch, aiming to create a more interactive experience for our community. Our goal is to connect with our audience in real-time, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement that will energize our channel as we move forward.

The Rebrand

At the beginning of October, we took a bold step forward with a significant rebrand of the channel. We’re absolutely thrilled with the channel’s new look, which has been met with enthusiasm from our audience. The fresh visuals and updated branding reflect our commitment to providing quality content and a vibrant community atmosphere. This rebranding is not just about aesthetics; it symbolizes our renewed dedication to our creative vision and the exciting journey ahead.

The GoBoomTV News Show ended

One of the most unexpected highlights of 2025 was the launch of the GoBoomTV News Show. This innovative series offered a fun and creative platform for sharing updates, reflecting on our various projects, and keeping our community informed about all things GoBoomTV. It became a beloved feature of our channel, providing a unique blend of entertainment and information.

However, after a successful run, we made the bittersweet decision to bid farewell to the show on October 1st. Despite the updated GoBoomTV News logo that we introduced, the show has not been produced since. We are grateful for the support and enthusiasm it garnered during its run, and we are exploring new ways to keep our audience engaged and informed in the future.

Renaming the GoBoomTV Leadership Team - is this really happening?

As for the speculation surrounding the renaming of the GoBoomTV Leadership Team, the answer is no; we are not planning to rename the team at this time. However, in a fun twist, it has been affectionately nicknamed the "Blue Spanner Club." On Twitch, it would be known as the "Green Sword Club." This playful moniker references the blue channel name and the spanner icon that signifies a leader in YouTube livestreams and premieres, adding a touch of personality to our leadership structure.

And what does Winter hold?

As we embrace the winter season, we have exciting plans in store, including the introduction of new Christmas logos. Yes, you read that right! We are fully committed to bringing festive cheer to our visual identity, which we hope will resonate with our audience and enhance the holiday spirit.

While we are uncertain about reaching 400 subscribers during this winter period, we remain hopeful and optimistic about our growth trajectory. Every new subscriber is a testament to our community's support, and we are dedicated to creating content that resonates with our viewers. The same goes for Twitch, we are unsure about reaching 50 followers, but we know it's possible. It may eventually be the first way GoBoomTV becomes monetised; however, I am not keen on earning money from this yet.

In terms of our show "Dave & Fam," we regret to inform you that it has now been cancelled. While this decision was not made lightly, we believe it is necessary as we refocus our efforts on other projects that align more closely with our vision.

As we reflect on Autumn 2025, it was a season marked by change and fresh energy, paving the way for winter, which will be filled with Christmas cheer and entertainment. With the New Year Special on the horizon, The Enchanted Railway making a triumphant return to the spotlight, and a plethora of exciting creative projects in the pipeline, this season promises to be fun, dynamic, and a bit unpredictable- just the way we like it!
